Man charged in deadly November crash in Reno

A Reno man has been arrested on a charge of vehicular manslaughter in the November 2009 death of a Kansas motorist.

William Henry Foster was booked Thursday into the Washoe County Jail and later released after posting $1,137 bail.

The 58-year-old Foster is accused of striking the vehicle of 35-year-old Shannon Munoz-Franco of Kansas City, Kan., as she was stopped at a traffic light at Geiger Grade Road and Toll Road in Reno.

Munoz-Franco was killed, and her three passengers and Foster suffered minor injuries.

Investigators have not determined what led to the crash.
