Man convicted in slaying of rapper, friend in Las Vegas
The 29-year-old man accused of killing a Kansas City rapper and his friend in Las Vegas was found guilty of murder today in District Court.
A jury found Jason Mathis guilty of first-degree murder in the 2005 killing of Anthony "Fat Tone" Watkins, 24, and guilty of first-degree murder for killing Jermaine "Cowboy" Akins, 22.
A jury last week convicted Andre "Mac Minister" Dow for his role in the slayings.
