A man died Thursday afternoon after a shooting at a Mexican restaurant near Decatur Boulevard and Smoke Ranch Road.
Las Vegas police spokesman Jacinto Rivera said police received a call of shots fired about 3:15 p.m., at 2801 N. Decatur Blvd., at El Puerto Mexican Restaurant.
The man was found in the restaurant's parking lot.
Rivera said witnesses described the man as having been shot in the head. Homicide detectives are investigating.
