Man gets probation in Doll House case
A 51-year-old man arrested during a high-profile police bust of a prostitution ring dubbed Operation Doll House was sentenced to probation in District Judge Stewart Bell's courtroom Wednesday.
John G. Keyes was arrested along with seven others in a series of busts on April 21 after a two-year investigation by Las Vegas police and the FBI.
Keyes and Ping Sheng Chang, who pleaded guilty to attempted pandering and also received probation, were the only two charged in District Court.
Keyes was arrested at a Las Vegas residence, which was occupied at the time by nine admitted prostitutes, according to the police report.
In an interview with police, Keyes told officers he was making money off the women. He was booked on one count of living off the earnings of a prostitute, a felony punishable by up to four years in prison.
