Man indicted in Strip ‘Thunder From Down Under’ fight

The 24-year-old man charged with robbing and assaulting cast and crew of Excalibur’s “Thunder From Down Under” show was indicted by a grand jury, Clark County prosecutors said Friday.

Joey Kadmiri faces 15 felony counts, including seven counts of robbery with use of a deadly weapon.

Kadmiri apparently got his face pounded by members of the male revue after Las Vegas police said he stole their costumes and makeup and pointed a .44-caliber handgun at them. The gun was fired, but nobody was hit. Kadmiri has said he was high on methamphetamine.

Two men suffered powder burn wounds when the gun was fired, prosecutors said.

An arraignment hearing was set for April 17.
