Man killed in Arizona crash identified

The Mohave County sheriff's office has identified the victim and released details of a fatal traffic accident last Friday in northwest Arizona.

Miller Williams, 67, died at the scene of a single-vehicle roll-over between Meadview and Dolan Springs.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Trish Carter said Williams was driving a Ford Escort east on Pierce Ferry Road just before 11 p.m. when his car crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle occupied by German tourists, who were not injured. Both vehicles stopped, then Williams sped away from the scene .

Investigators believe Williams was driving in excess of 90 mph when his vehicle rolled multiple times a short distance from the first accident scene, Carter said.
