Man killed in home-invasion robbery

A 37-year-old man was shot and killed late Saturday after two men forced entry into his apartment and demanded money, according to a Las Vegas police release.

Police said the incident happened at about 11 p.m. at El Parque Apartments, 3355 Arville St., south of Desert Inn Road.

The man and woman inside the apartment resisted and one of the suspects shot the man, police said.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The male suspects, described as black, fled on foot, police said.

The woman received a minor injury in the incident.
