Man killed on I-15 identified

A man killed while walking across Interstate 15 was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office as 34-year-old Andrew James Mueller.

Mueller was struck by a car about 10 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 15 south of Flamingo Road, the Nevada Highway Patrol said. The man was on foot in the northbound lane when a woman driving a maroon Scion sedan hit him.

Highway Patrol officials did not know why Mueller was walking on the highway. The coroner's office did not release Mueller's city of residence.
