Man sentenced for stalking victim of child pornography

A former Las Vegas man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for stalking a woman who was a victim of child pornography.

Gregory Hoffman, 41, was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Robert Jones.

Hoffman was indicted in 2008 and later pleaded guilty to one count of transporting child pornography and one count of stalking.

According to a statement from the U.S. attorney's office in Las Vegas, Hoffman sent e-mails in 2007 to the victim and to a friend of the victim's via MySpace accounts.

The victim was 9 and 10 when pornographic images of her were produced. The pornographic pictures have been circulated for years over the Internet.

Hoffman, who was arrested in New York, sent pornographic images of the victim to her friend, according to the statement from the U.S. attorney's office.
