Man who died in Route 160 accident identified

A Las Vegas man who was killed Monday after rolling his vehicle on state Route 160 was identified Tuesday as 49-year-old Tommy Silas.

Silas of Las Vegas rolled his white Pontiac Firebird about 8 a.m. near mile marker 21 for unknown reasons, Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Joseph Fackrell said.

The sole occupant of the vehicle, Silas was thrown from the car and died at the scene, Fackrell said.
