Man who died in Saturday rollover identified

The Las Vegas man who died in a single-vehicle crash in the southwest valley Saturday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Ronanic Porfeta Par, 47, died at the scene where the Nissan hatchback he was driving rolled over on southbound Durango Drive, south of Desert Inn Road about 10 a.m.

The coroner’s office had not determined the cause and manner of his death.

Las Vegas police said Par was speeding when he veered off the road and his vehicle flipped over in the landscaping to the right of the intersection. He was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown several feet from the Nissan.
