Mayor pro tem elected in Henderson

Henderson City Councilwoman Debra March was elected mayor pro tem on Tuesday, replacing former Councilwoman Kathleen Vermillion.

Vermillion resigned effective the same day.
March will act as mayor in the absence of Mayor Andy Hafen.
The mayor pro tem also serves as vice chairwoman of the city's Redevelopment Agency.
