Motorcyclist dies after crashing into motor home in NLV
A motorcyclist died Wednesday when he crashed into the side of a motor home.
Police were called to the crash on Craig Road at Goldfield Street about 1:30 p.m., said Officer Sean Walker, North Las Vegas police spokesman. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses reported that the driver of the 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600 was traveling east at a high rate of speed on Craig when the 75-year-old driver of a 1990 motor home that was westbound on Craig turned to travel south on Goldfield. The motorcycle slammed into the passenger side of the motor home. No citations were issued, Walker said.
The motorcyclist was the 19th person to die in traffic accidents in North Las Vegas this year, police said.
