Motorcyclist killed in hit-and-run ID’d

A motorcyclist killed in a hit-and-run accident Saturday after being struck by a sport utility vehicle was identified Tuesday.

Miguel Bravo, 19, was killed by blunt force trauma, according to the Clark County coroner's office. He died at the scene.

Maria Mauricio-Martinez, 34, was arrested by police a few blocks away from the scene on charges of vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run causing an injury or death.

Police said the accident happened about 3 p.m. Saturday near Lamb Boulevard and Washington Avenue, in the eastern part of the valley. Police said Mauricio-Martinez pulled into the path of the motorcycle, which was traveling south of Lamb.
