Multimedia storytelling: Play it again

One of the ways the online news site differs from the printed paper is the
ability to tell the story with moving pictures — either with video or
slideshows. In case you haven't clicked around the site lately, the
multimedia library is growing weekly; our team of visual storytellers is
doing an outstanding job.

Among the stories recently added to the site are the addition of likeness
of President Obama to the Madame Tussaud’s wax museum; the 100th birthday
celebration for Las Vegan Lola Lovell; punk rock bowling; and the
extraction of an inmate from his cell at the Clark County Detention Center.
Start by clicking on the multimedia link (www.reviewjournal.com/webextras/)
on the top, right portion of any page on the reviewjournal.com site.

Once the player loads, you'll see a familiar folder format with links to
videos in several areas, including show reviews, recent videos, Fear and
Loafing (Corey Levitan's job adventures) and archives. I'm confident you'll
get hooked, so be sure your ear buds are plugged into your computer to
avoid attracting attention at the office.

There are also links to The Associated Press’ online video network and many
audio slideshows by Review-Journal photographers.

This is a work in progress, so let me know what you'd like to see added.
