Murder suspects plead not guilty

Two men accused of killing an aspiring model pleaded not guilty to murder charges Wednesday in District Court.

A grand jury indicted Nicholas Navarrette, 23, and Geoffrey Grove, 25, last week on 27 felony counts.

Grove, a former boyfriend of Hamzaj, told police he was upset she had ended their relationship and went to her home with his roommate, Navarrette, to steal her vehicles and guns.
