NEON MONDAY

Fresh acts gain exposure at club

Keepin' the kids occupied and off of your lawn, the University Theatre, a recently opened all-ages venue, has had an immediate impact on the local music scene. This is especially true on Mondays, when the club plays host to new and rising young bands during its "Maximum Xpozure" series.

Tonight, the show will feature the promising Vegas metalcore group Hollis Hurst, along with fellow local bruisers the Rebel Saints, Killer in Denial, Up in Arms and January Sessions. Follow this place's lead and give these groups a chance.

The show starts at 6 p.m. at the University Theatre, 4737 S. Maryland Parkway. Tickets are $5; call 898-5500.
