'Robot Chicken' hits roller rink

To commemorate the release of the new "Robot Chicken: Star Wars II" DVD, a snarky, animated, tongue-in-cheek evisceration of George Lucas' much-loathed flick, show creators Seth Green and Matt Senreich are getting on a tour bus and spending two weeks on the road hitting various roller rinks with hip-hoppers Gym Class Heroes. Yeah, it's kind of an odd concept, but right in line with the deliriously oddball feel of "Robot Chicken." If you buy the DVD, you get in an hour early. And even if you don't, you still get in free. The festivities start at 8 p.m. today at the Rancho Crystal Palace Skating Center, 3901 N. Rancho Drive. Call 645-4892.
