New Mexico robber might have left severed finger
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Albuquerque police say a robbery suspect might have left a piece of his finger behind at the crime scene.
KRQE-TV reports police found the fingertip at a smoke shop after gunshots were fired during a robbery. Investigators think the fleeing suspect may have shot off his own finger.
A fingerprint will be taken from the severed digit.
No arrests have been made.
