Road Warrior columnist Adrienne Packer is subjected to a pat-down after refusing to enter the full-body scanning machine at McCarran International Airport. After critics complained they were being groped during the TSA’s new pat-down procedures, Packer wanted to see what the fuss was about.
The Federal Highway Administration is having a party Saturday to give the public a chance to to wander atop the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge before traffic begins flowing across the spectacular $240 million span later this month.
