NLV houses damaged by electrical fire
An electrical fire destroyed one house and damaged two others along with a storage unit from a nearby business Tuesday afternoon, according to the North Las Vegas Fire Department.
Battalion Chief Jay Wittwer said firefighters were called to the blaze about 2:30 p.m. near Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road.
He said the cause of the blaze and where it began remained unknown Tuesday evening.
Wittwer said one house was engulfed in flames, and two others were damaged.
He estimated the total damage at more than $200,000.
No people were injured in the fire.
