NLV Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds rise to $11 million

City of North Las Vegas officials announced yesterday that Clark County will donate an additional $3 million of its directly allocated Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds to North Las Vegas' existing $8 million allocation, bringing the city's total to $11 million.

Kenny Young, North Las Vegas senior assistant to the city manager, said that the money will be used to demolish and redevelop Buena Vista Springs Apartments, 2417 Morton Ave., as a part of the city's own Neighborhood Stabilization plan.
