North Las Vegas man dies in shooting at home
A 19-year-old man died today after he was shot Saturday while answering a knock on his front door, North Las Vegas police said.
Police identified the shooting victim as Julian Roman. He died at University Medical Center about 3 p.m., police said. Police said Roman answered a front door about 6:45 a.m. Saturday at 2601 Harewood Ave., near Interstate 15 and Cheyenne Avenue. He was shot multiple times.
Police have not made an arrest in the case and don’t have a motive for the shooting. Police said the suspect fled the scene after the shooting.
