Northern Nevada Correctional Center reports inmate death
An 86-year-old inmate died at a medical center at Northern Nevada Correctional Center Sunday, officials said.
Foster Gordon died of complications from a medical condition and had been housed at the correctional center’s Regional Medical Facility for “some time,” officials said.
Gordon, who was serving 20 years to life for sexual assault, had been at the correctional facility since 2008, according to officials.
The Carson City coroner’s office will conduct an autopsy.
