Nothing suspicious found in suitcases left at Summerlin parking lot

Las Vegas police say they didn't find anything suspicious in two suitcases discovered around 7:45 a.m. at a parking lot near Summerlin Parkway and Town Center Drive.

The unattended suitcases were discovered on the 1600 block of Spring Gate Lane in Summerlin, police spokeswoman Officer Barbara Morgan said.

Homes and businesses nearby were not evacuated but Morgan said a post office, gas station and 24 Hour Fitness allowed patrons to leave but not enter the businesses while investigators were on scene.
