Nye County Sheriff’s Office investigates human remains found Friday

Human remains were found Friday in a desert area of Pahrump, according to the Nye County Sheriff's Office.

The remains were found near Bannavitch Street and Betty Avenue by a resident walking his dogs in the evening.

The deceased has been tentatively identified as 49-year-old David Edward Pucci, of Pahrump, although final confirmation is pending a DNA analysis. The cause and manner of his death are under investigation.

Anyone with information about Pucci is urged to contact the Nye County Sheriff's Office at 775-751-7000.
