Obama to visit Las Vegas high school Thursday

Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., will visit Cheyenne High School on Thursday to discuss his bid for president.

The 6 p.m. event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required because of limited seating, according to his Las Vegas campaign headquarters.

Free ticket sign-ups can be made at www.barackobama.com with pick-up at his Las Vegas office, 3041 E. Flamingo Road, Suite A; or in North Las Vegas at 4080 N. Martin L. King Blvd., Suite 101 B. Both offices are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This will be Obama's eighth campaign visit to Nevada.
