Obama will visit LV for Reid benefit

President Barack Obama will visit Las Vegas on May 26, sources said Tuesday.

Obama is scheduled to headline a fundraiser for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.

Further details were not available.

It will be Obama's first visit to Nevada since being elected president. He last came to the state Nov. 1 for a rally in Henderson just days before the general election.

It's not known whether the president will have a public event while he is in Southern Nevada.
