Officials in California search area for missing 15-year-old

MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- Dozens of law enforcement officials are combing an area of Morgan Hill, Calif., Saturday as the search for missing 15-year-old Sierra Lamar continues.

Santa Clara County sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Jose Cardoza said about 90 officials, some from nearby counties, are searching a 12-mile radius of the community. Cardoza said the search is the biggest mounted since Sierra was reported missing more than a week ago.

She hasn't been seen or heard from since she left for school on the morning of March 16.

The FBI has also joined the investigation with agents stopping drivers Friday to ask whether they noticed anything unusual on the morning of her disappearance.
