Old news in poll of us Neva-d’ohs about Angle candidacy

The folks at the liberal Talking Points Memo blog were positively giddy over a new Public Policy Polling survey that found a majority of Nevadans would have rather had someone other than Sharron Angle as the Republican standard bearer in the Senate race against Harry Reid.
"Neva-d'oh! 68% Of Nevadans Regret Nominating Sharron Angle," the headline reads, while the text reads, "In the poll, 68% of Nevadans said they think Republicans should have nominated someone other than Sharron Angle to challenge Sen. Harry Reid last year. Only 21% said the GOP did the right thing in nominating Angle, and 11% had no opinion."
Actually, the PPP poll said 68 percent of Nevada "Republicans" would have rather posted a different nominee and 27 percent were OK with Angle.
But either way, it's old, old news.
A Mason-Dixon Research & Polling survey back in August reported similar dissatisfication even before Reid defeated her in November. That poll found 68 percent of all Nevadans would rather have had a different GOP choice, and 71 percent of Republicans would've preferred another choice. Even 66 percent of those who said they planned to vote for Angle wanted someone else.
