Six people were ejected and one of them was killed when a speeding boat rolled on Lake Havasu at 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
The Mohave County sheriff's office reported the accident occurred when the driver of the 30-foot Awesome Daycruiser made a sharp turn to avoid other watercraft about one mile east of Windsor Beach.
Sheriff spokeswoman Trish Carter said five victims who were rescued by other boaters were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Officials with various agencies searched for Jeremy Conklin, 21 of Selah, Wash., whose body was located by sonar equipment Sunday.
An autopsy is pending.
