One killed, another hurt in NLV shooting

One man was killed and another was injured Sunday during an early morning shooting in North Las Vegas.

North Las Vegas police said they were called to Blue Reef Drive, near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Carey Avenue, at 3:42 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a wounded 24-year-old man in the front yard of a home on the street. He was unresponsive.

Officers discovered a second man also had been shot. The man, whose name was not released, was hospitalized with an injury not considered life-threatening.

Police did not release any suspect information.
