One killed in rollover accident on Interstate 15

One person was killed Friday in a rollover accident on Interstate 15.

Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Joseph Fackrell said the accident happened about 12:15 p.m. just south of the Craig Road exit.

The driver of the vehicle traveling north on the highway lost control and the vehicle rolled, he said.

A passenger in the vehicle died while being transported to the hospital.

The driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries, he said.

The cause of the accident was unclear Friday afternoon.
