‘Pawn Star’ moves against misconduct
September 10, 2011 - 1:01 am
If you're going to be a member of the "Pawn Stars" entourage, you had better behave.
Rick Harrison, the front man of the wildy popular reality show, made it clear Friday he's not going to tolerate obnoxious behavior by members of their inner circle.
Harrison, co-owner of Gold and Silver Pawn, issued a statement to Vegas Confidential on Friday after a friend of the pawnstore family created an ugly disturbance at Vintner Grill on Monday.
The Summerlin restaurant is a favorite haunt of U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Mayor Carolyn Goodman and her husband, former Mayor Oscar Goodman.
"An associate of ours was in an incident at the restaurant and we are very sorry it happened," Harrison wrote.
"We rest assured there will not be another one as the individual involved has spoken with us about it. Vintner's is one of our favorite places to go, and we hope to be in again soon."
The incident erupted at the bar about 4 p.m., when two men squared off, reportedly over a woman.
Nothing was damaged, and "they were asked to leave," said Peter Varela, general manager of the restaurant.
Police were called, but no report was taken, he said.
