Pedestrian killed in hit and run

A woman crossing Lake Mead Boulevard near Nellis Boulevard Saturday night was killed in a hit and run, Las Vegas police said.

Police did not identify the victim.

The collision occurred about 10:04 p.m. A dark Ford pickup was eastbound on Lake Mead and struck the woman, who was crossing outside of the crosswalk. The truck hit the pedestrian and fled, police said.

The woman died at the scene.
