Pedestrian struck in downtown Las Vegas

A pedestrian was injured Thursday morning after being hit by a vehicle in a downtown intersection, Las Vegas police said.

The unidentified man, who was taken to University Medical Center’s trauma unit with unknown injuries, was struck at about 10 a.m. on South Fourth Street and Carson Avenue, police said.

The accident is under investigation by police, and few details were provided Thursday morning.
