Pedestrian who was killed on Boulder Highway identified

The Clark County coroner's office identified the 51-year-old pedestrian killed in a Saturday morning accident as Kora Phillips.

Phillips, of Las Vegas, was walking across Boulder Highway about 1 a.m. in a marked crosswalk near Tropicana Avenue when she was struck by a 2004 Toyota Tacoma driven by 21-year-old Terry Dickerman, Las Vegas police said.

Dickerman fled the scene but returned a short time later, police said.

Authorities arrested Dickerman and booked him into the county jail on charges of driving under the influence involving a death and felony hit-and-run involving a death.
