Plane crash victim was LV man

A Las Vegas man who served in the Navy was found dead Saturday after the private plane in which he was a passenger crashed in Southern California.

The Navy confirmed that Airman Biejay Clarodeclaro was one of two Navy members found dead in a plane that crashed Friday near San Diego.

Clarodeclaro was a helicopter engine mechanic with the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Three based in Coronado, Calif. He was a passenger in a small plane piloted by Gabriel Driscoll, authorities said.

The crash is still under investigation.
