Plane from Las Vegas reported missing on way to Northern Nevada

Authorities in Lyon County are looking for an overdue plane that took off from Las Vegas on Sunday but never arrived at its destination at the Minden Airport.
The Sheriff’s Office’s search and rescue division was notified of the plane’s status on Monday. They’ve been focusing their search in southern Lyon County.
The name of the pilot has not been released.
Others helping with the search include sheriff’s deputies from Douglas, Washoe, Mineral and Mono counties along with the Nevada Air Guard, Nevada Department of Emergency Management and Civil Air Patrol.
