Police: Father backs car over 2-year-old son, killing him

North Las Vegas police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old child who police say was accidentally run over by his father who was backing his car out of a driveway today.

Police declined to identify the 35-year-old father or the boy's mother.

They said they don't plan to file any charges against the man at this point.

The accident happened around 2 p.m. at the Green Spot Mobile Home Park at 2537 Las Vegas Boulevard N. near Civic Center Drive.
