Police investigate after man’s body found at park

A man's body was found Sunday afternoon at Desert Breeze Park, Las Vegas police said.

Police Lt. Ted Snodgrass said authorities were alerted about the man's body at 4:30 p.m. Snodgrass said the man, who appeared to have been in his 40s, was found at the southeast corner of the park, which is located near Spring Mountain Road and Durango Drive.

Snodgrass said homicide investigators were at the scene Sunday night, but haven't determined a cause of death and haven't identified any trauma to the man's body.

Homicide Lt. Lew Roberts said the man's death is suspected to be from a drug overdose.

Authorities did not release the identity of the deceased man.
