Police investigate southeast valley stabbing

One person was stabbed in the chest in the southeast valley Thursday night, according to Las Vegas police.

Officers responded to The Suites weekly rental units located at 4855 South Boulder Highway, near Flamingo Road, about 8:30 p.m. and discovered the victim with a single stab wound to the chest, Lt. John Liberty said.

The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Police said that the injury did not appear to be life threatening.

Police are getting conflicting reports from witnesses are still investigating the incident, Liberty said.
