Police: Robbery suspect strikes third Southern Nevada bank

Police are looking for a man who has robbed three banks in the Las Vegas Valley this year.

The man committed the first two robberies on Jan. 21 and Jan. 29. The most recent robbery, Las Vegas police said Wednesday, happened on Feb. 6 at a bank near Flamingo Road and Koval Lane.

At about 2:45 p.m., the man entered the bank and followed the same routine he used at the previous two robberies, police said — he handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller handed money over and the suspect fled.

Police described the man as being 45-60 years old, about 5-foot-8-inches tall, 160-180 pounds and having brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a gray zip-up sweater and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the robberies or suspect can contact Las Vegas Police at (702) 828-3591. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
