Police say Henderson man was crash victim

The driver who died Wednesday afternoon in a rollover alongside Decatur Boulevard was 27-year-old Frederick Robert Craig Hart V of Henderson, according to the Clark County coroner's office.

About 3:50 p.m., Hart was southbound on Decatur just north of Serene Avenue when he made a rapid lane change to pass another vehicle and caused a three-vehicle collision, police said. Hart's truck rolled.

Hart was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck, police said.

Hart was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, but the occupants of the other two vehicles suffered no injuries, police said.

The accident remained under investigation Thursday, but preliminary evidence indicated that speeding and unsafe lane changes were the causes of the accident, according to police.
