Police say two die in murder-suicide; third person found injured at scene

A man and woman have died, and a second woman was hospitalized in critical condition Friday night after a shooting at a business near Tropicana Avenue and Valley View Boulevard, Las Vegas police said.

The identities of the deceased man and woman were not released by authorities.

Police said the double slaying was a murder-suicide but didn't say how the second woman was involved.

Lt. Dan McGrath said police received a call about 8:22 p.m. from a voice who sounded like a man who said he had just shot a woman.

Police responded to the Tiberti Mini Warehouses, at 4870 S. Valley View, and found the deceased man and woman. A second woman was transported to the University Medical Center in critical condition with a gunshot wound to her head, McGrath said.

As of 9 p.m., McGrath said homicide investigators had been called to the business. He said the deceased man is believed to be an employee of the business.
