Police seek suspects in violent Chinatown robbery

Las Vegas police are looking for two men who shot a man in the face after they robbed him near Chinatown on Saturday.

The two men got out of a blue sedan and pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his belongings near Valley View Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road about 10 p.m., police said.

Although the victim complied with demands, one of the suspects shot him in the face, police said. The two suspects then fled the scene.

The victim suffered serious, but not life-threatening, wounds.

The first suspect is described as a white or hispanic man between 26-30 years old. He is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and weighs 150 pounds. He has a green, crescent shaped tattoo on the front of his neck.

The second suspect is described as a white or hispanic man standing 5-foot-8 and weighs 150 pounds. He is clean shaven with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black and gray buttoned-up shirt.
