Police seeking to ID infant

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying an infant found alone in a stroller on a street corner today.

The girl, believed to be between 8 to 12 months old and weighing 27 pounds, was found on the corner of Charleston Boulevard and Pecos Road around noon, Las Vegas police said. She was in a dark blue stroller with a yellow pattern and was wearing soiled pink clothes with black tennis shoes.

The stroller had a stuffed animal hanging from it with the name “CRISS” written in pink on the toy. She was taken to Child Haven, Clark County’s emergency shelter for abused, neglected or abandoned children.

Anybody who saw the child or has information on who the child is or who was caring for her is encouraged to call authorities at 828-LOST.
