Las Vegas police are still investigating the strangulation of a 74-year-old man found dead Friday in his home near Harmon Avenue and Jones Boulevard.
The Clark County coroner's office has identified the Las Vegas man as Richard Kline.
A neighbor found Kline's body around 10 a.m. Friday after noticing the door of his mobile home was ajar, Las Vegas police Lt. Lew Roberts said.
Roberts said Kline had also been stabbed, but the wounds were superficial.
Kline lived alone at the Las Vegas Jaycees Senior Citizens Mobile Home Community, Roberts said.
Police have no suspects at this time.
"We obviously look at a lot of things to see if it was another resident," Roberts said, adding that the community's location near a wash raises the possibility that the suspect might be a homeless person.
"We have to look at it from all angles," he said.
Representatives from the Las Vegas Jaycees Senior Citizens Mobile Home Community declined to comment Monday.
