Police suspect blast linked to men seen leaving construction site

North Las Vegas police believe the construction site explosion heard early this morning by nearby residents was intentionally detonated by adult males seen leaving the area around midnight.

Men were seen at the site near Aliante Parkway and Grand Teton Drive when the original call of a blast was made to police.

Around 6 a.m. employees of Hyrock Construction reported damage to the side of a water truck that was parked overnight in that area. The damage consists of a football-size hole in the side of the truck.

There is no known motive for the crime and there have been no arrests yet.

Nobody was injured in the explosion.
