Police suspect stabbings, one fatal, may be related

KINGMAN, Ariz. -- One stabbing victim drove himself to the hospital 40 minutes before another stabbing victim was discovered dead early Friday in Bullhead City.

Spokesman Steve Johnson said Bullhead City police believe but have not confirmed that the incidents are related.

Jose Abraham Parra-Rodriguez, 17, was airlifted to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas for treatment of life-threatening stab wounds after he arrived at Western Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City at 1:10 a.m.

Johnson said the body of Anthony Diaz, 20, was found on a private road at an RV park on Ramar Road at 1:50 a.m.

"A lot of questions are left to be answered," Johnson said.

An autopsy is pending.
